BCW In Action is a bilingual registered charity organization committed to making a difference in the lives of families in Black Canadian communities living in Western Canada.

BCW in Action's vision is to promote the empowerment of Black Canadian women, girls and families in all sectors of society by building self-esteem, leadership and confidence through conferences, workshops, programs, etc.

BCW In Action promotes cultural activities specific to our communities, which gives a sense of belonging to Canadian Society. By building bridges, partnerships and collaborations with other communities and organizations, BCW advances the cause of Black women, girls and families.

What We Offer!

Promotes the empowerment of Black Canadian women, girls and families in all sectors of society. Conducts research, compiles data and disseminates findings on the social, economic and cultural aspects of Black communities.

BCW In Action offers programs and services for Black women and girls of all ages. Our Black Girls Empowerment Program offers women career training and development, internship opportunities and more. Our Active Women’s Program encourages, supports and empowers women to succeed, and our Centre of Wellbeing focuses on effective stress management and mental health.
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
Offers business information and orientation sessions aimed at equipping Black entrepreneurs with critical knowledge and skills. The knowledge, skills and insights acquired will support entrepreneurs to hone their creativity and learn best practices enhancing their business capacity.
