Black Canadian Woman in Action, BCW in Action, proudly announces the addition of board directors to its esteemed team. Hailing from Edmonton, Calgary, and Regina, these professionals and business women bring a wealth of experience and a commitment to empowering Black communities across Western Canada.

Their diverse backgrounds and expertise will be invaluable as BCW in Action continues its mission to empower, advocate, and support Black women, girls and families in Canada.

  • Laurel Sabur, Edmonton: [Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships, Radius SFU]

  • Jayna Amadasun, Regina: [Founder and CEO of Ember Impact Global]

  • Oby Azogu, Edmonton: [CEO and owner of Karinet Informatics Limited]

Their collective expertise spans various industries, including business, finance, education, and community development. With their guidance, BCW in Action is poised to make an even greater impact on the lives of Black Canadians.
